Destination weddings

Miami - The Bahamas - The Hawaiian Islands

One of the most important days of your life. For many couples - it's the first and only time that every single person they love is in the same place at the same time. These moments deserve to be documented with intent; which is why it's our goal to capture the essence of the wedding day through timeless images. Some of the more important things we focus on -

The in between and natural interactions of my couples and guests

Genuine moments between family members

Modern portraits with direction

what are the travel fees?

Travel fees include airfare to the destination, a hotel room for a minimum of 2 nights (the night before the wedding and the night of the wedding), and transportation to and from the airport (rental car, uber, or rideshare, ect).

Where do you stay?

It is preferred that I stay at your resort along with the other guests to reduce the amount of time traveling back and forth

Where do you travel?

I will travel anywhere you are able to accommodate me!

Do you have insurance?

Absolutely. I am a licensed and insured business and am able to provide documents to your planner or venue as needed.

The process:

I. Inquire & Book the date.

Weddings that fall during our "peak season" here in Florida should be booked at least 12-16 months in advance. Once you inquire you may prefer to set up a phone call where can will discuss all of the details of your wedding day.

II. Sign contract & pay retainer.

Once you decide to book your wedding date you will receive a contract and invoice. To get your date officially on the calendar, there is a 50% retainer to be paid via your online client portal. Your remaining 50% balance will be due to the month of your wedding

III. Receive your custom wedding day photo timeline & shot list

Every couple receives a photography timeline that is custom and tailored to fit the needs of the couple and wedding day logistics. This is done about 2 months from the wedding date.

IV. Wait for your final gallery following your wedding day!

The best part of the entire process - receiving your final gallery. Every couple receives a "sneak peek" gallery of 15-20 images within 1 week of their wedding day. Within 8-12 weeks you will receive your final gallery of 600-1000 edited images in high resolution

Other FAQ

What is your method of photography?

On the wedding day, I prefer to shoot a good mix of directed/posed shots with candid natural shots. While I tend to stand back and capture the natural parts of the wedding day, I also step in to direct the more formal parts of the day (couples portraits, family photos, ect). I would say that I am very directive behind the camera, and usually keep the day flowing based on the shots we have previously discussed.

Is there a retainer/deposit?

A 50% retainer is required at the time of booking when you sign your contract. Your remaining balance is due 30 days before the wedding. This can be paid online through your invoice using a credit/debit card.

How many hours of coverage do we need?

8 hours of coverage is the most commonly booked collection of mine. Most weddings require at least 8 hours of coverage to have adequate time to capture all of the ongoings. For example, if you plan on capture the getting ready process, bridal party, couples portraits, ceremony, and reception, I would recommend 8 hours.

Where are you based?

St. Augustine Florida, and Miami, Florida.

How and when do we get our images?

You will receive a digital gallery of 25-30 sneak peak images. Within 8-12 weeks of your wedding date, you will get a full online gallery of all of your edited images. However, this is usually more like 4-6 weeks depending on the season of your wedding.

Have you shot at our venue before? (and does that matter?)

I shoot at a wide variety of venues every weekend, with the majority of them being new venues. For wedding photographers, stepping into a new venue is no different than a venue we have shot at hundreds of times before. In fact, we tend to like new venues more because it gives us a fresh perspective.

How do we get our date booked?

When you're ready to get your date booked, you will get a digital contract and invoice via email. Once the contract is signed and the invoice is paid, I am all yours!

We're not used to being in front of the camera and I'm worried we won't know what to do?

Fun fact - nearly 100% of my couples have never had professional photos taken of them together before! I am giving guidance throughout the day on where to stand, where to look, and what to do! This way I am able to capture candid but editorial moments

How many pictures do we get?

Every wedding is unique, but on average you will receive 50-100 images per hour of coverage in your gallery.

How do you accept payment?

You are able to easily make your payments through your online invoice using a debit or credit card.

What happens if you can't make it to our wedding?

If something unforeseen happens and I am unable to make it to your wedding, I have a trusted team of backup associate photographers that will fill in for me.
