Capturing the essence of your wedding day

Florida - The Caribbean - Destination

Intentional documentation of the fleeting emotions

Editorial portraits with modern direction

Genuine moments between family members and guests

The process:

I. Inquire & secure your date

Weddings that fall during our "peak season" here in Florida should be booked at least 12-16 months in advance. After inquiring you can expect a full quote within 24 hours.

II. Sign contract & fulfill retainer

Once you decide to secure your wedding date you will receive a contract and invoice. To get your date officially on the calendar there is a 50% retainer to be paid via your online client portal. Your remaining 50% balance will be due to the month of your wedding

III. Custom wedding day photo timeline & shot list

2 months out from your wedding, we will gather enough information from you or your planner on the design elements and logistics of the big day. Every couple receives a photography timeline that is custom and tailored to fit the needs of the couple.

IV. The final gallery

The best part of the entire process - receiving your final gallery. Every couple receives a "sneak peek" gallery of 15-20 images within 1 week of their wedding day. Within 8-12 weeks you will receive your final gallery of 600-1000 edited images in high resolution

FAQ

Do you charge for travel?

Yes, depending on where you would like to bring me. All travel costs associated with current 2024 weddings are included in the collection pricing as seen above

What is your method of photography?

On the wedding day, I prefer to shoot a good mix of directed/posed shots with candid natural shots. While I tend to stand back and capture the natural parts of the wedding day, I also step in to direct the more formal parts of the day (couples portraits, family photos, ect). I would say that I am very directive behind the camera, and usually keep the day flowing based on the shots we have previously discussed.

Is there a retainer/deposit?

A 50% retainer is required at the time of booking when you sign your contract. Your remaining balance is due 30 days before the wedding. This can be paid online through your invoice using a credit/debit card.

We're not used to being in front of the camera and I'm worried we won't know what to do?

Fun fact - nearly 100% of my couples have never had professional photos taken of them together before! I am giving guidance throughout the day on where to stand, where to look, and what to do! This way I am able to capture candid but editorial moments

How many pictures do we get?

Every wedding is unique, but on average you will receive 50-100 images per hour of coverage in your gallery.

Are you insured?

Absolutely, I carry limited liability insurance up to $2,000,000. Please let me know if your venue needs me to send over my information.

How and when do we get our images?

You will receive a digital gallery of 25-30 sneak peak images. Within 8-12 weeks of your wedding date, you will get a full online gallery of all of your edited images. However, this is usually more like 4-6 weeks depending on the season of your wedding.

Have you shot at our venue before? (and does that matter?)

I shoot at a wide variety of venues every weekend, with the majority of them being new venues. For wedding photographers, stepping into a new venue is no different than a venue we have shot at hundreds of times before. In fact, we tend to like new venues more because it gives us a fresh perspective.

Are you available for phone calls?

Absolutely, I get to know every single one of my couples very well before the wedding day. Being familiar with each other is all part of the process of getting genuine and authentic photos. I am always available for phone-calls or a facetime.

How do we get our date booked?

When you're ready to get your date booked, you will get a digital contract and invoice via email. Once the contract is signed and the invoice is paid, I am all yours!

Do you travel? What is the fee?

I travel all over Florida for my couples. Travel fees depend on the location and will be quoted to you when you inquire.

How many hours of coverage do we need?

8 hours of coverage is the most commonly booked collection of mine. Most weddings require at least 8 hours of coverage to have adequate time to capture all of the ongoings. For example, if you plan on capture the getting ready process, bridal party, couples portraits, ceremony, and reception, I would recommend 8 hours.

Where are you based?

St. Augustine Florida, and Miami, Florida.

How do you accept payment?

You are able to easily make your payments through your online invoice using a debit or credit card.

What happens if you can't make it to our wedding?

If something unforeseen happens and I am unable to make it to your wedding, I have a trusted team of backup associate photographers that will fill in for me.
